  SMARC’s Hamfest!

  SMARC’s annual Pre-Field Day hamfest is back again for 2026! This June 6th we’ll be setting up at the Salvation Army Springfield Headquarters for a fun filled day of radio. We decided to set it around this time to give people one more good hamfest before field day hits. We’ve also gotten a few more vendors on the block this year, including Associated Radio and Mike’s Embroidery, as well as expanded with more tables for the 5th year in a row after last years sell out.

  From 8am to 1pm we’ll have loads of table sales, vendors, testing sessions, presentations, prizes and food! There will also be plenty of parking and restroom facilities. So come out and see us!

  Here are all the basics!

  Date: Saturday, June 6th, 2026

  Location: 1707 W Chestnut Expy, Springfield, MO 65802

  Time: Setup starts at 6:30am and doors open to the public at 8am (Those taking a test can arrive at 7:30 and will be escorted to the testing area). Vendors can setup the night before.

  Entry Ticket: $7 in advance, $10 at the door. Each entry ticket comes with 1 raffle ticket.

  Table Ticket: $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Each table rental purchase comes with one entry ticket and one raffle ticket, not a ticket/entry per table rented.

  Tailgater Spot: $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Each tailgater spot comes with one entry ticket and one raffle ticket.

  Additional Raffle Ticket: $1 each – Available until 12:30pm for the grand prize.

  Talk-In: 146.910 – Negative Offset – 162.2Hz

  Raffle Prizes

  Like any good hamfest, we have raffle prizes! Prizes will be drawn for every hour starting at 8:45am until 12:45 when the grand prize is drawn for. Ticket will continue to be sold up to 15 minutes prior to the grand prize drawing! You do not need to be preset to win the grand prize, but you MUST be present to win hourly door prizes. We’ll have a display showing the winners for the door prizes and any unclaimed prizes will be redrawn before the grand prize.
